I never heard of autobooru. Looking at archived posts it looks like it used Illustration2vec, I was very impressed with. Is this magma you're talking about? https://www.draketo.de/inhalt/krude-ideen/magma-lists.html You'd probably need also add thumbnail support, but why chose BT over IPFS? Nobody's going to pull out a BitTorrent client to a 3MB image, so you'd need to develop an app for each platform. If you're just running a booru, (and file-to-network propogation time isn't an issue) why not use IPFS? You'd get extra features like block-level deduplication.
I hope Permanent Booru turns into the Mastodon/Frendica for boorus, with the added benefit of IPFS's resiliency.
>Elixir I'm not too familiar with elixir myself. What are it's advantages to comparable languages?

Too many reasons why, and BT is getting its block-level deduplication through BEP 46&49: you only need to add the block bsdiff.lzma and done. >thumbnail support I need help deciding that: >>7d4fbf60b01a29ed46
